15 min. Breakout - tradingisfishing

Thinking out aloud here
1. We can look at pre market data for %chg to be greater than 1 or 2 % and also traded volume to overall market cap being at some ratio like 0.01
2. Looking at momentum stocks like where daily RSI is greater than 70 for previous day, which is also greater than day -2 . These stocks as shortlist for up breakout and vice versa for down breakout. Then looking at premarket data or first 5 min candle rsi to be greater than 60 or 70.
I tried these today and for point 1 I got about 2 FNO stocks but they only travelled about 1 to 2 % today while for point 2 I got about 10- 11 FNO stocks with top being 5 % chg and lowest being -ve 0.5% chg for the up breakout. Since don't have amibroker, will manually test these for some days forward

MSN1979, Appreciate your dedication here. Below is the FO Stocks list I have all on paper : Nifty Green as advances more than decline in Preopen Market, Ratio of Value in Crs to Market cap >=0.01 & finally Preopen %Chg >1 (Removing Reliance and Jpassociate and anything less than 50Rs)

manoj ji, very impressive study, interestingly even market is up mind tree is down and your comment says avoid it, it ends up highest return!

Is it really trading or just probability?
