Discount Broker Comparison

Can anyone tell what are transaction charges when we sell stocks from Demat account.
Any broker has less charges or all are same?

One small I want to highlight is none of the discount broker has option to invest in Bonds,NCDs,IPOs etc .Though they are discount brokers mainly providing trading platform but if any broker provides these options as well it will be add-on

I would also like to know which broker has facility to open a dp+tradin a/c within 1 day / online opening ? I have found that most of the dp have highly cumbersome process of a/c opening.

Downtime from past 30 minutes on NEST with Alice Blue... they say some satellite problem... I am really thinking twice about this whole discount broker experiment. Could not close positions at end of day.

bad very bad, wtf satelite problem........who will be responsible for any loss in forced overnight holding :annoyed:

With Zerodha I may have faced only few minutes of downtime in my past 2 years of trading with them... really never realized the value of reliability and robust systems until now. Brokerage cost is not everything. I assumed with NEST there should be some equality between brokers on system uptime, WRONG.

Are you trading with wisdom capital or directly with alice blue? Don't they have call and trade to sq off trades?

The guys manning the call and trade desk are idiots... I had to follow up many times to get the trade done... and it took well over 15 mins. Meanwhile MIS has auto squared off the trades (luckily) by 3.20. Only some small positions left open. But I've never faced this anywhere. Even the web trade didn't work.

With Alice Blue. But probably same issue with Wisdom Capital as well, being that they are using the same systems/backoffice etc.

Yes, seems a strange issue. I also did not find their customer support good as my emails were not replied. As far as wisdom goes I would never deal with a sub broker.
