Yes you need to use NEST plus for this.. Click on the contract for which you need chart and press SHIFT + P or else right click go to plugin commands and then go to plus chart..

double click on the blue box on the extreme left of this chart window.. Now adjust the chart to any size you want.. You can also open multiple charts this way...

How can open multiple charts?when i tryed to open another chart it opening on previous chart...

Zerodha,

One day I am receiving ECN the other day I have to request for it. Not getting ECN from you is a regular facility of Zerodha now. Please do something.

It's irritating to shout and send mails to you daily for ECN. :mad:

Looks like their mail server is incapable to sending 15000 ECN mails per day.


@Zerodha,
please improve back office software. You once mentioned omnysys has taken over your backoffice ....is it still in the process ?

1. SL-M should be enabled by default, if it is not send an email to [email protected].

2. Click on admin positions, click get detail, click on the contract you want to convert and click position conversion..

3. Yes you can change between NRML to MIS and vice versa..

4. 3.20 for equity and 11.10 for commodities..

5. There are some exchange issues about using funds between equity and commodity. We have found a fix staying within regulations, should be out soon....

You can do it presently, but not through an online module...

If you opened an account with us in the last 6 months, then all you have to do is send an email asking to pledge your stocks and we will do it for you..

If you have opened an account before that, then there is this document that you have to sign and send to us, once done you can send an email asking to pledge your stocks.. To get hold of this document, send an email to [email protected]..

The online module should be up by mid october for the same. We are having issues integrating with the trading platform..

@Zerodha,

Today is the my first day with Zerodha Nest Trader. I noticed a serious flaw in it. When I logged out and re-logged into the terminal, all the previous entries in tradebook and orderbook are disappeared.

This prevents us to modify or cancel orders.

Please do the needful ASAP.

1. If you want charting, I'd suggest you to use the PLus chart as this is the one that works..

2. If you are checking historical chart of f&o contract, it will show for only the period of the contract.. If you check for historical on equity, you will see it for the entire period..

3. Historical will come only as daily candles.

4. When the chart opens on the bottom of the page, double click on the blue vertical box at the extreme left of the chart window.. The chart becomes small, now adjust the size to what is comfortable.. Right click on the chart and say lock scrip.. After this, open another chart, both will open..

5. This we need to check out on an individual basis..

6. An order can be converted by clicking on the pending order and then clicking modify.. f3 is the short cut key.. If you are not able to see open order adn completed order press ctrl + 3.

7. Will be cancelled automatically

At a time, even if you have a 21 inch screen you can see only 25 to 30 scrips.. Hence we have enabled the same.. YOu can have multiple mktwatch..

If you want to trade f&o without any extra leverage, use NRML..

If you wish to trade with 40% of the f&o margins, use MIS. When order placed as MIS, you can trade till 3.20 pm. At 3.20 pm, all MIS positions are squared off automatically.. If you intend to convert MIS to NRML to hold overnight.. Go to admin positions, click on the link get detal positions, click position conversion.. You can select all MIS positions at one time and convert and similarly vice versa..
For eg if in 25k you have bought 2 nifty future in MIS. Go to admin, square off 1 lot at either market or limit, from the admin position window itslf.. Click on postion conversion and convert it into NRML and then hold it overnight...

Yes, even if you buy options as MIS, it will get squared off, So ensure to always trade as NRML if you only buy options..

If you are a person who writes options, then you can use MIS to get intraday leverage..
