Hi Sr14,
Please guide me. When I open intraday 5mnt chart in z-trader,it shows almost 20 days chart. How can I reduce it to say, 3days , when I can see the candles distintively visible. Ctrl+z does not help.

There a tiny application Nest2Ami Pro developed by a vendor.

I am using it now and also used its prior version. It basically fetches the quotes
from Nest into Ami and updates the charts, at the selected interval.

The backfill is however limited to the amount of data present in Nest's data window.

The vendor is charging Rs.250 per month, and it is a very good utility considering
the charges per month.

If anyone is interested, send me a pm and I will give the vendor's contact
details. I think I can't post the link in this forum..

(I am not directly/indirectly involved in the development/marketing of this
product. Information is given for the benefit of members wishing to try it..)
Wanted to PM you but I am not a privilaged user in TRADERJI to send a PM.

Does Zerodha's span margin calculator tell us only the intraday margin requirement for Nifty futures or for overnight position as well? If yes, how to see it.

Thanks

Account opening has gotten a little stricter.. We ask for original bank document or seal on a printed document now..

But if your KRA is done, then a xerox would do.. Your KRA will most likely be already done if you have bought any mutual fund this year or had opened an account with another broker... Our account opening team can let you know if you are KRA compliant by using your PAN number..
Hi,
I have Some 60 Shares of Reliance with me in certificate form...I want to sell it off...What is a procedure ?? What forms I need to complete ??

Do I need to open Demat and trading account both with you ?? Pls Send the Document list ..

@ Zerodha / fellow friends
I want to know the solution for the following situation:
My brother has some 300 shares (of Rs 2 value) of JP Associates in physical form, that he has purchased long time back before demat era and he want to sell them now.

How he can proceed to realize these shares, without opening a demat account. He is not interested in opening trading & demat account for this small and only holding. So how can I help him

Can I purchase these shares from him offline.
Or can he gift these shares to me.
If so then what will be the procedure for me, to follow, so as to get these shares demat in my account. I have a trading and demat account.

Dear Zerodha,

Could you explain the difference between Demat and trading account. In sense Demat is like a PF account ?, where the shares are under my ownership. But, When a derivative contract is in my trading account, where is it really ? Is there a common pool where all the derivative contracts under a broker sit? Can there be a situation where a share may also remain in trading account or it has to compulsorily be in Demat account.

A bit stupid question, but like to know the difference.

Regards
