My Views on RELCAPITAL today...

The ATP is 463.99

Explanation:

1). The first candle touch the ATP and closed above ATP which signalled for BUY (@ 468.75) But the subsequent candles didnt touch the high.

2). The 6th & 7th candle (circled in the chart) touch the ATP and closed ABOVE ATP BUT DIDNT MADE HIGH OF THE PREVIOUS ATP which means I DONT INITIATE A BUY as a precaution to avoid whipsaw as I said earlier in my post. As a rule I wouldnt have traded today with RELCAPITAL

after candle 6 & 7, we may not take long abv high of these cndles since they are below the high of earlier bullish setup (no bearish setup in-between).
Can we take long abv high of earlier setup itself?

This u can get from yr trading terminal.
I am using Nest.
What is yours & ask yr broker which keys get it.
On line is best for this strategy as u r independent.
Otherwise, follow Karthik & it is only two min delay which is Blessing in Disguise.
I will take the advice, i have been through with quadra.. but what are the quadra settings?... Ur settings are different from anant...eventhough this thread is not for quadra, plz give brief

POSITIONAL TRADING STRATEGY (USING 5 WMA)

We trade based on EOD data. We need to plot 5WMA on High & Low.

Strategy:
1). Enter long (Buy) when the close price closes above 5WMA High
2). Stop Loss is the low of the candle which closed above 5WMA
3). Enter short (Sell) when the close price closes below 5WMA Low
4). Stop Loss is the high of the candle which closed below 5WMA
5). Exit/Target with 1% min and can be carried forward according to the individual risk taking level.

I have attached EOD chart of ICICIBANK for the period from Feb'12 - Aug'12. Please review to have a basic idea on what I have explained above. I will explain with trading oppertunities.:thumb:

"Chal Bagundi "Karthik....Excellent.. but tell me what WMA (MA is moving average, what is W)..

Hi anup... I too trade mostly from my office... So it becomes difficult to post at the time of setup... Will try my best to post at the earliest possible time...

W stands for wilders... Wma wilders moving average..
