Hi!

So, people conveniently mis-understand my messages and put me in the opposition for reservation. But that is NOT true.

It is the dirty mentality of the politicians in mis-representing facts by quoting partial information…. that is what I oppose.

Usual statements are like : There has been injustice on these people for decades and centuries, and now is the time that they should get the advantages.

Fine. But who are they referring to?

Like during the time of Aurangzeb that Hindus were made to pay extra tax. There was also an advance permission needed to proceed for pilgrimage, for which an additional tax was required to be paid. Yes…. this happened in Hindustan centuries ago.

So, are we subsidising the pilgrimage for Hindus? No, we do that for Hajj visitors. Fair enough. But why are the politicians using the British method of divide and rule? If it does NOT work for Hindus and Muslims, then try it with Dalits and Non-Dalits. Something is sure to work.

So, introduce reservation 60 years ago for the layers who really deserved to have it, and during these 60 years, keep modifying it suitably by keeping an eye on the vote banks.

Maharashtra claims to be proud for the Great King Shivaji, who was a Maratha, and today’s politicians are grouping together to claim reservation for Marathas…does NOT justify at all, and is purely based on Maratha lobby vote bank.

Such political and vote bank based reservation, which I oppose. Those who really deserve must get it. But the irony is… always the non-deservers grab it, and those who deserve have to remain empty handed.

Hi!

One local TV channel in Mumbai reported that in the Rantagiri district of Maharashtra, residents of a village took an unusual procession. It was of a State Transport Bus, that had arrived in their village FOR THE FIRST TIME. The procession started after the usual ceremony of breaking of coconut and almost all the population of the village participated.

So far, due to non-availability of roads that this and surrounding villages had no luxury of any vehicle. Even to get into a state transport bus, they were required to walk for about two and half hours.

That too after 60 plus years of independence. Thanks to Congress, who led this state and country for majority of that time.

And while in Mumbai currently, that I could get two separate news info about political mis-use of power by ministers.

One said that while the court had restricted sale/lease for a part of land in a village near Pune, it had also banned any construction on the same. Defying the court orders, a minister is making a lavish farm house on that land, for which he has blocked the nearby river, making it difficult for the residents of the nearby villagers to survive without water required for drinking as well as for farming.

The other news was about the govt land that was restricted for the development of Industrial Development Area by MIDC but was allegedly used by two ministers to establish their private educational bodies.

Respective ministers or their keens have been served with a court summons.

But Evenif all are taken to court, they shall get away by using their power of position. It is high time that their mis-use of the positional power be challenged, so that for any and every such offence, the person shall have to quit all his/her political positions and become an average citizen and fight the allegations like every ordinary citizen.

But again, that is too much of a wishful thinking.

Hi!

The Media had earlier reported that counterfeit notes of Five Hundred and One Thousand Rupees are very much in circulation in India.

The report also said that one out of every five notes being withdrawn from Bank ATMs is a counterfeit note, and that there are 4-5 locations in Pakistan, where these counterfeit notes are being printed en-mass and are being smuggled to India for circulation here.

Two possibilities.

News could be Bogus and if so, govt must take the concerned TV channels to court for making attempt to spread panic in public.

Or the news could be correct and govt needs to give some explanation, acceptable to public.

One out of every five notes, means 20%. Does that mean that 20% of the Indian GDP is being achieved through fake notes? And the Indian Govt accepts it shamefully? Does it also mean that the beneficiary of this all is Pakistan?

Like the July 08 Mumbai attack could NOT have been made, ‘without insider help’, such large circulation of counterfeit notes too cannot be possible ‘without insider help’

One may ask ‘what is the advantage?’ Use the counterfeits to strengthen one’s political position for selfish goals. Let the country suffer, who cares?….well that appears to be the attitude of our politicians.

Hi!

In almost all Metro cities, using the belt for the front seat occupants of a car is a legal requirement.

There was a time, that even if the person in the driver’s seat is wearing the belt, but the one next to him is NOT, the police would promptly charge a fine of Rs 500 to that person for not having used the belt.

But this always was for ‘aam janata’

Aaj Tak TV channel had arranged a camera team outside the Sansad Bhavan and had shown that almost all the MPs preferred seating in the front seat, next to the driver. And while the driver always used the belt, none of the MPs did.

Dirty mindset. Someone has said that in the eyes of law, all the citizens are equal. A modified version I had heard, that said, some are equal, some are more equal as being practiced by the politicians.

The part of the statement that says ‘some are more equal’ actually has a hidden word in between and it actually stands for ‘some are more [than] equal’

The meaning of this all is simple. For the persons who are equal, they respect the law. Those who are ‘more than equal’ consider themselves above the law.

This all is due to illiteracy in the public representatives.

‘Charity begins at home’ actually means that if you work for the charity, the first contribution should come from your home. The illiterates suitably change the meaning to have the charity money for their homes.

Nagar Sevak actually means Sevak [employee] of Nagar [City] but it is currently being interpreted as ‘Persons who have the whole Nagar as their personal Sevaks’

And yet, these are the same persons, who get elected again and again and claim that their view point is the correct one.

Hi!

And while I have been blaming the Congress party, the other leading parties like BJP are no different.

Karnataka has a good system of “Lok Ayuktha”

From time to time, one finds that Lokayuktha, with his team, raids one or the other office and/or residence of government officials. Every time, crores and crores rupees worth treasures are hunted out, which are un-explainable compared to the known legal sources of income of those officials.

Media reports, general public gets happy that some chor was un-earthed and wishes that now he/she will get punished.

In reality, no such thing happens.

Some months ago that the govt had officially refused to take action against such corrupt officials based on Lokayuktha reports and evidences.

What happens to the un-earthed treasures? Hopefully that gets transferred to the govt treasury….hopefully. We all never know, what the reality is.

Then what is the idea of doing this kind of farce? This has now been going on for years. And if the culprits do NOT get booked and punished, then why waste public money in the machinery that is used for un-earthing such treasures?

Hi!

So the Supreme court had to ask the govt about the ‘racist’ situation in Australia and the action that the govt has taken so far, and is planning to take in the near future.

I have my doubts, if any of the govt official has the courage to come forward and say that the Media reports are Buxx Shxx and no such ‘racist’ acts have been conducted against the Indians in Australia.

Because to say such a thing, these person should have the info available with ‘aam janata’ of Australia. But the info that would be available for Indian govt shall only be through two sources –

1. from govt of Australia to govt of India
2. From Australia Media to Indian Media to Indian govt

And I have my doubts again, whether any of these shall have any part of truth in it.

Here I am NOT going to act like a fool to say that only the info received by me through friends is correct. But that is NOT false either.

Which means that actual truth may be either on one side or the other or in-between them.

But would the govt officials have patience and competence to reach to the truth behind these scenes, or like most of the police force, they would be more interested in making someone a scape-goat and declaring the case closed.

History tells us that the govt never knows the needs and problems of the common man. When NDA was in power, they went in for the elections with full confidence of winning. The slogan for Congress prior to that election was “ Aaam Aadmi Ko Kya Mila” [what did the common man get?] whereby the Congress had confessed that Congress & UPA were un-aware of the common man’s status, and were asking others. It was the left parties that swung the pendulum of power from NDA to UPA, and it had taken every political party in India by surprise.

Hi!

Thanks Capricorn for the link to the article from The Times of India.

But then, what is ‘Racist attitude’? It is a definition that changes from place to place suitably, based on the circumstances.

The basic common part of the definition says that there should NOT be any differentiation based on skin colour, eye and/or hair colour, etc …. the things that one gets with one’s birth and cannot change thereafter.

Fair enough. But as per the Indian Laws, one can change the religion but NOT the cast in which one is born.

Therefore, the ‘Cast’ should also be included in the definition of differentiation based on racist attitude.

And THAT is Legal in India, making our country legally racist.

The casts that exist in India in the Christian and Muslim religions do NOT exist elsewhere in the world, and therefore the rest of the world has no say in the matter. But the impact that is creating is NOT good at all.

I saw a cricket match, which was played at a small town. The batsman had scored around 90% marks for 12th Std HSC exam, but could NOT get into the engineering college. His schoolmate had scored less than 70% marks in HSC but got into the best govt Engg college through reserved seats.

The batsman hit the ball, the schoolmate tried to catch it, touched the ball but finally dropped the catch.

Batsman left the ground, declaring himself out. When asked, he replied, that guy’s fingers touched the ball, and under reservation rules, that must be as good as a catch, so I am out.

That bitterness was NOT good for the country in general. Like Mayawati herself was forced to induct Brahmins in her BSP to get better administration of the party, that the Congress shall someday wake up to find and correct what major errors it has been doing. But then, it would be too late.

It would be interesting, if and when the govt declares the percentage of students taking entrance in Engg & medical colleges, and how many of them actually clearing the first year itself in 1st attempt, or 2nd or 3rd or may be never. Unless such results are available, we shall never know, whether the current reservation policy is actually helping the needy or is only a political farce.

Hi!

Maharashtra is the only state that has gone ahead with full force for banning the plastic carry-bags by giving some Buxx Shxx reasons. The fact is otherwise.

Every major city of this state, such as Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Nagpur has one major problem.

Garbage removal and disposal.

Some persons in the ministry may be having a kind of a complex related to this issue, that is helping the garbage getting collected inside major areas of these cities. The garbage removal and disposal is NOT being done effectively and the common man has to suffer as always.

Already we have a problem of the rains getting delayed. But assuming that the delayed down pour starts with a bang, then all the garbage lying in these cities shall get pushed in the gutters, which shall be a major hindrance for the disposal of the rain water….plastic bags or not.

Once again there shall be water clogging. Politicians [as usual] shall try to find one or the other scape goat. Those in opposition shall have a good point to fight. Those in the power shall ignore the say of the opposition as ‘politically motivated’

Effectively, the reality shall get ignored as usual, and the elected members shall once again prove their uselessness in handling the situation effectively.

In fact, none of these guys know, what ‘administration’ means and they will never bother to find it out, but shall always be self-styled expert on that subject.
