No nothing for traders except the base IT slab increased from Rs 2 L to 2.5 L and 80C limit increased from 1 L to 1.5 L

Have you also ever got lucky by placing the buy orders at much lower prices in the OTM Options and then somehow getting them filled ? Some guys must be doing this regularly.

Point related to Mutual Fund Industry -

12:50 pm: In a move that will come as a big blow to the mutual fund industry, the FM has increased long-term capital gains tax on debt mutual funds from 10 percent to 20 percent while the holding period has been increased from 12 months to 36 months. With the tax arbitrage gone between debt MFs and other debt products, the FMP mania will likely come to an end.

Fortunately position on equity mutual funds remain unchanged....so we can invest upto Rs 1.5 Lakhs in 80 CC ELSS funds.

Bought this at 5.1 today, sold at 6.25

Edit : Also, screwed myself in Reliance 940PE. Kept for buying at 4, sold it at 3.75 after 20 min.. it closed @7.25

It would more dramatic if today the expiry day ? So much of diapers will be sold
