Urgent: Do not use IE until it is patched, as for now you will be under high risk for any attack under remote code execution, which it is already actively used from criminals . (Easiest solution is to use an other browser like Opera or Firefox until the problem is solved with a patch from Microsoft).

Intel Anti-Theft Service

The Intel Anti-Theft Service (the Service) lets you lock down your laptop if it is lost or stolen so that no one can use it. It also allows you to create an encrypted folder (known as Secure Data Vault) on your laptop where you can store private files. The following steps help you enable the Service

Hi

In case you some times play games on any Windows system, be aware about the DirectX applications the version runs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DirectX

Here a link to check what you run on your windows system http://www.directxupdate.com/

If you run already the new Windows 8 you will have DirectX 11 which can be a problem for older windows games.

What to do in that case< You may try that steps< Download an older version like the DirectX 9 version and when installing it on your computer, create a new folder in the program folder to not downgrade your 11 level. If you not create a new folder it may overwrites your 11 level and that would not be professional.
