Political parties shamelessly milking the opportunity to score points on the death of a farmer. Instead of reflecting on the reasons for what happened and how such incidents can be prevented in future, they are busy trying to milk the tragedy to get media attention. I wonder if the press/media vans were not present, how many of such people would really bother to turn for the 'protest'? All the noise will die down in a few days and we will continue to have such 'Nirbhayas' and 'Gajendra Singh's' in future as well - unfortunately.
We need more people out of farming, more big farmers who have resources to manage their 'business', better infrastructure for farming, less price control, fair land prices, more accountablility in political class.
Instead we get meaningless nautanki-dramas, no ones talking about solutions.
Congress is least intrested in farmer welfare, as their rule in maharashtra has shown. Land grabbing has been happening before, vadra ji to useme khoob age hai. Apparently most land is not used appropriately and there is no one held accountable. What will this bill change? I dont even know what exactly they are opposing just a lot of rhetoric.
i had hoped aap would be a credible alternative but all they seem to do is dharnas and nautankis. Even annaji seems to be misguided sometimes ( mamta bannerji for pm ... )
