My choices are
1. Castrol
2. SBI
3. NHPC
4. PNB
5. Radico Khaitan.
6. Fortis
7. Reliance
8. L&T
9. Crompton Greaves
10. Marico.

That is a good choice. In power sector, I am sure NHPC will do great in long term as it is based on natural reversible source unlike NTPC which is mostly coal based.

I have NHPC in my portfolio but I am planing to dispose it once Nifty crosses All time high(hope in profit). Because I feel N power would be more suitable for India due to merit of Npower Plant and demerit of Hydro Power Plant.

I think India will go on France Line and majority electricity would be generated with N Energy.

I will also Include a Distillery in my portfolio as it is going to be a BIG market.

Why do you want SBI and PNB both ? Sorry it is your portfolio but I thought I am missing some thing.

Ys. N Power is a good option as well. I chose both frontier PSUs bcz if India grows, banking sector will be first to move ahead and PNB is second large performer after SBI. I just prefer PNB over ICICI or Axis.

Good list.You can as well substitute NTPC with HDFC. NTPC is not doing
well for last few years despite from the fact that it is a NIFTY stock with
good weightage.
