how did you get this data man...:clapping: I was searching this for quite some time... now please tell me how to update this thing... and all my troubles will be over... :thanx:
actually i use getbhavcopy for taking the nse cash and nse fno data. data downloader for the mcx data. these two utilities i use ti update the datas. another 1 u can use to get the nse cash, fno, currencies is NSE EOD Downloader by Sahil Gupta. its a very good utility

Hi,
Agian help required. I have downloaded bhavcopy for 29th june-12, but there are many columns in the excel file. Can you give me step by step guidance as to how to upload the data to metastock?? It would be very helpful...

the process of conversion of ascii eod data (as downloaded by getbhavcopy) is very simple. give all the option in the downloader and convert it. open the ascii eod data in the source file , save as the file as metastock format in the designated folder. put the correct options like, date, periodicity, etc in the options and convert it.

if u face problem, read the help file in the metastock downloader conversion utility. it will help u.
