Hi all,
Guys as we must be using different brokers, can we share the type of exposure given by different brokers. I want to reach a conclusion which online broker provides maximum exposure both in cash and derivatives segment. i am using kotak who have divided securities and futures into group A,B,C,D,E for which they provide multiples of 5,4,3,2,1 respectively.
For eg SAIL is placed in Group A it means you get a multiple of 5 i.e. you pay 20% margin for a lot of SAIL, and RNRL is placed in cat D it means you get a multiple of 2 ie. you pay 50%. for nifty futures they provide multiple of 10. this is not intraday. for intraday they have a group of 15-20 scrips for which they provide a multiple of 8 it means you pay in multiple of 8 ie. you pay a margin of 13-14% but they will square off your positions at 2.30 pm if you do not square off before that.
my basic purpose of this querry is to find out which broker provides maximum exposures in futures segment irrespective of intraday, i mean you can hold that lot untill expiry. so who offers the best exposure for futures so that you can hold it untill expiry.
thank you all in advance
