a number of GAINERS.Is it sending a message?I think

Seems most of the grainers have following in common (being Gainer in this market conditions)


- They have some or other open offers
- Some volume/price game is being played
- They did not have FII exposures

Yes ,you may be correct.That is way the market goes on.In fact we are having as many as 80 to 90 gainers in all.I would like to mention one name JOCIL(177.50) which gained rather handsomely over 52%.It did not find place as the volume is low (278).I do not know much about the company and it's products.

The gainers list of last two week was not as pathetic as the week ending with 10th Oct.On that the saving graces was some Commodity stocks ,especially GOLD stocks.The losers were reported from -50% onwards.

what happened to mtnl ? was planning to launch mega ipo ... last news i heard was they holding on it until market condition improve.As a gov company and gov vested interest in improving market condition, first bomb wd be launch of mtnl ipo... wd watch keenly in ur weekly round up list and in my ta chart as well. plz excuse for my speculation, i knw assumptions r baseless.

It is true that MTNL planned to launch IPO. Perhaps MTNL is one of
the heavy scrip ,many people love to HATE because of it's low price
bands (it has 110/60 high/low in last 6 months).Many telecom scrips
are bleeding now ,Bharti,Rcom,TataCom,Idea,etc...If MTNL offers some-
thing better than these company then only we can expect it to do well
otherwise simply it will join their company. (even after bear market).
