I previously posted here about an alternative to Getbhavcopy where one can download the Bhavcopy of NSE equity and index data. However, GetBhavCopy software did not download all the index data from NSE, and the index names were also different from the original names. Nevertheless, it did download the EOD data with the old index names, which allowed me to update the working database at that time. The Bhavcopy was compatible with the working database.
Therefore, I have now written a script that addresses this issue. I have added the modified version of that script to the repository, so if anyone wants to update the index data with the new names in their old database, it is now possible.
