SH's 315 Strategy - how to use if effectively

Sir while using the EMA I m getting option of OPEN & CLOSE EMA in Chartnexus & while selecting them it gives slight movement to EMA

Can u please tell what is the difference between OPEN & CLOSE EMA & how thse can make difference & which one of these to use?

Hi Sunny

Every day the price has four major points - Open, High, Low and Close.

EMA open will give you the moving average of the opening prices.

But sine we are concerned with only the closing prices (315 being an EOD strategy), we should be using EMA close

Finally ... Nifty opened at 5400 ... 3 EMA not touching ... booked all shorts ..... made 145 points on 2x quantity. All losses recovered from previous 4 whipsaws

will re-enter normal quantity at 3 EMA touch.
