Most of the fund houses offer very generic category funds. Is there any single fund house offer most number of sector based funds?
I can see UTI or Reliance offer Pharma Energy or FMCG. In any economy there are many major sectors(not commodities) going up/down. CNX Nifty indices are IT, Bank, Infra, Energy, FMCG, Pharma, bank, Auto, Media, Retail and more.
It will be of more interesting to invest if fund houses offer sector funds with focussed holdings of 25-50 stocks in each fund, than generic funds with 200 or more stock holdings.
