I have started to use this mechanical method from today. I will try to update the details as Sunil used to do earlier. I will upload the updated excel sheet at the end of every month.

Position at end of 05-Jan-10:

1. Pivot-based mechanical system
FUT shorted today
Spot close = 6079

2. 2 Day Swing
(yesterday, the SAR level was on close below 6126)
today SPOT closed below 6126
Current Position: SHORT
SAR: Close below 6176

3. 3 Day Swing
(yesterday, the SAR level was on close below 6105)
today SPOT closed below 6105
Current Position: SHORT
SAR: Close below 6177


Method 1 is short
Method 2 is short
Method 3 is short


So, overall position is SHORT

Spot close = 6048

2. 2 Day Swing
(yesterday, the SAR level was on close above 6,176)
Spot close = 6048
Current Position: SHORT
SAR: Close above 6,141

3. 3 Day Swing
(yesterday, the SAR level was on close above 6,177.80)
Spot close = 6048
Current Position: SHORT
SAR: Close above 6,176


Method 1 is short
Method 2 is short
Method 3 is short


So, overall position is SHORT which we have initiated on 05-Jan-10
