dear ankit sir , great going ,plz clear me as a newbie , as u said at 1.45 pm add operation 10 sma crossing 25 sma, i couldnt get in i charts and yahoo live chartswhich i follow sir where to follow ,i saw macd cross over in the moning 12.25pm but not later 13.45 croossover of MA .Thanking you sir (forward testing day 3)

I use REUTERS for my charting needs...I am afraid you wont be able to get it...However, Please try investbulls.com ...they have clear charts....for intraday movements I guess you can use PIB or Metastock....Again, I may not be the best person to recommend on them as i dont use them.

Forward Testing...Day 4...

We closed out our positions last trading day(Hitting trailing SL), as a result today's gap didnt bear any fruits for us,oderwise would have made a straight 60 points from the gap up. But, I guess, thats the game.

Today's day was pretty volatile almost giving no signals. Only one trade at MACD cross over...was ITM by about 35 points, but then trailing SL hit at entry elvels.Here is the Trade..

TGT 2930 SL 3120

13:45 100 0 2990 Trailing SL Hit. All lots closed.When mkt moved +30 in our favour, SL was moved upto Entry level.

SAR means Stop & Reverse...You would only be stopped if you have any open positions...
And yeah, MACD crossovers are the only SAR i have used till now on this strategy.

At 1315 ,Nifty future was quoting at 2990.It was good case of SAR with RSI
at 66 and gained substantially.A SHORT position at this level sends a person
jittery because Futures gained around 30~40 points from this level,but at this
level it became SAD because Nifty Futures dived rather badly from level.

To capture SAD is very difficult ,but sometimes SAR turns into SAD.I think
roughly one out of 5 SAR's turn into SAD.

I coined the acronym SAD for fun-sake, only SAR is the correct word.I want to
highlight the behaviour of nifty with the word DIVE.(PUN intended).Those who
went SHORT at this level were lucky because they captured ENTIRE day's
movement of NIFTY within this short frame of time.

could u plz explain the graph? I dont think it uses MACD....so on what basis arae SAR and SAD defined?

This is a simple RSI graph with 70 & 30 as SAR.Please note TRAP also.
