need help for new technical analyst student

i m new in this criteria.......and i wanted to know some software for use bar charts and line, candle.....plz let me know if any software and ebook for me.

best software to use Amibroker, (if that is costly there are few free charting s/ws available, but soon your demands will outweigh the price)

lots of books available, i would suggest you to start from "Come into My Trading room" by Elder, excellent starter.....
