1. Name of technical analysis book - most commonly used
2. Name of the class room training - most reputed one

There are lots of book on trading...
I think first one has to decide what kind of trader he is and what timeframe is suitable for his trading style.
After that you can read books

JOHN MAGEE, tells all about patter, support resistance, flag, etc best book I came across through technical analysis.
