I opened ami & myquotes at 10 a.m. today but throughout the day could not get a single chart. The time of live quote was always being delayed by an hour or more. What's the problem?

I too had the same problem , seems yahoo had its own problems because on the site itself the quotes werent updating.
As for the timing problem , its due to the Daylight savings , just go to Settings, Options and change the time accordingly to IST.

Yahoo quotes sometimes don't update. If yahoo doesn't have the quotes then myquotes can't give you the quotes.

There is gdata. For live data, joy said he would make one with data from google.

Is the myqotes data delayed by 10sec compared to odin?

Could be. My quotes fetches data from yahoo every 5 secs so you will see at delay of 5 sec min. Then it has to go though yahoo and through the web for which a request has to be sent and the the quotes received.

I checked it today. When using my brokers web terminal and checking the data from myquotes is usually withing 1pt diffrence of nifty most of the times. I don't thing there is a huge delay.
