Hi Soft trader,
You are doing a great work by maintaining this diary, i just wanted a piece of advice from you, I am able to see that you are counting your winning trades by points, that is what most of the successful traders do, I am very new to trading and have only spent one year in learning the market so far, When i tried to keep track of my progress with points system, i was feeling like losing interest, not sure why, but i can promise one thing i am trading only for passion not just for money, but i am not able to track my progress with points alone always money comes in my mind, any piece of advice from you to avoid this please?

Thanks for writing.I am not a great trader. I am also a newbie wandering in this financial jungle. I keep track both by points and money. If you keep track in by money I think there is no harm in that. Money will come into the mind, that is natural human sentiment.
Earlier I used to set a target like I have to earn minimum this or that this day and used to have targets. Say I must earn 500 per day and if one day I earn 300 the next day I should have a target of 800 and so on.....
I realized my mistake. Now I took a trade whenever I see an opportunity if I don't see a trade I don't take any. Earlier I used to sit right from 9:15 and used to punch order within few seconds of market opening
Think of it as a game. Use that amount of money that you can lose without losing your sleep at night.
One think I have learnt from this market. PATIENCE IS THE KEY Best of luck for your trades:thumb:
