Hi,

i am payin 2.5% or Rs 90 whichever is higher for each lot (market price * lot size) with investsmart. please let me know, whether this is correct or not.

Also as u all have mentioned that u pay Rs.9 per lot or Rs 50/- etc...is this for some advance brokerage being paid...

ya u r right most brokers charge rs 100 a lot or 1% , whichever is higher . but if u have high turnover u can negoiate upto rs 50 a lot .. RK GLObal chares rs 9 per lot.

hi user dp111 , Ventura Securities Ltd. charges rs. 50 per lot or rs. 0.75 % of the premium whichever is higher. however if you are a regular trader generating a brokerage of rs 1000 or more per month. they offer the client rs. 35 flat per lot. this is for an online trader. they have relationship officers who are equipped with lap tops and an internet connection to show how their internet online trading platform works

Hi,
for selection of online trading platform one should pay attention for the following points.

a.Type of platform, browser base or software base.
b speed of order execution, many software and browser base application does not work during pick/panic hours.
c.Activation charge,
d.Fixed monthly charge
e.brokerage on lot or on amount
f. Intraday brokerage two way or one way
g.Delivery mode brokerage.....one way or both way
h.No hide charges
i. Complaint redressal......how efficient are?
these are few basic points which should be confirmed from reliable source then only a decision could be taken. Please throw light on these points and advice a good platform.
