It's not only good it's almost the only way how to provide yourself with everything you need in future. Investment is a great instrument for those people who wisely understand that they want to live happily when they will grow up. So, I think this way should be preferable for everyone who once though about it. To my mind, with a proper and right approach to forex trading youcan earn solid sums of money. Of course, you shouldn't hope for fast money because there are no fast money at forex, nevertheless if we look at the dynamics, we can see that it's pretty beneficial to run trading activity actually.

You can invest in currencies that yield good return, during panic when they depreciate. Sooner or later thanks to business cycle fluctuations, money will flow back into this currency and you will earn return in the form of capital gains as well as interest rate on assets denominated in this currency.

Why not? Of course, investing in forex is also okay, however you should understand that if you got used to investing in stocks for example, then the general process of course isn't different, but in fact there are some distinguishing traits in case we speak about forex investments. The forex market is far more volatile than the stock market, where profits can come easily to an experienced and focused trader. However, forex also comes with a much higher level of leverage and less traders tend to focus less on risk management, making it a riskier investment that could have adverse effects.

While foreign exchange assets are the most traded, the risks are obvious and can lead to serious losses. Investopedia does not provide tax, investment, or financial services and advice.

It is alright to invest in forex market if you know what to do. I mean that nobody should expect to get rich within a week. Successful forex trading implies lots of learning and practise, you'll have to work on your psychology and learn about the economics. All in all, it is possible to gain decent profits from trading if your budget is not less than $10,000 and you are ready to learn. However, if you have only $100 and no knowledge, you'll hardly achieve any tangible long-lasting result.

Learning is key ingredient in forex success, moreover just like any other business we need to invest our time, efforts and money in this business.

Forex trading is more about speculation rather than investments, since there are no cashflows from your deals, except cash settlement when you close the trade. Thus strictly speaking forex trading can't be considered as investment. Nevertheless I consider it more rich in opportunities especially if apply efforts to make your trading system competitive and more advanced.

They buy and sell different currencies. Currency trading participants include banks, corporations, central banks (like RBI in India), investment managers, hedge funds, retail forex brokers, and investors like you. Forex trading is a legitimate way to make money.
