I have been working on developing a software that would do the technical analysis, generate signals based on rules that I would write and allow me to backtest. And the best of all, do real trading by connecting to my broker's trading website as soon as the signlas are generated.
My project is over and I can do everything that I orginally targeted for within the software. However, I am no richer yet due to the idiot that sits outside the computer software. (Remember the quote "Intel Inside, Idiot outside!")One of the realization of my past few years is that the single most important trait for a trader is "discipline". And I am not that at all.
Now I am in the process of backtesting the strategies.
