Dear Sir/Madam
Thank you for writing to us.
Kindly note that, online brokerage for F&O is Rs.75 per lot and if it is not squared off before the expiry date, then the Exchange will close out the position at the closing rate of the same contract note. There will not be any brokerage for the settlement of Future done by the Exchange on the Expiry date and Rs.30 is applicable in case of Option Excised by the Exchange.
Margin requirement for F&O is available in the Customer Care Site under the option "F&O -> Margin requirement"
All futures contracts are marked-to-market(MTM) to the daily settlement price of the relevant futures contract at the end of each day. In case a futures contract is not traded on a day, or not traded during the last half hour, a 'theoretical settlement price' is computed. Mark-to Market Margins are settled daily which means that any profit arising on the outstanding position at the futures closing price shall be paid out on T+1 day. Similarly any loss arising on the open position at the futures closing price will have to be paid to Exchange on T+1 day.
