Why not.... Don't you have to opt for dividend reinvestment mode expressly or is ti default....

I remember days when such taxes were added. The reasons were "to track" black money investment in stock market. Similar tax was added later on on cash transactions. Now both type of taxes are one of source of earning for govt and banks respectively.

whatsapped my RM. BeES gave dividends until a few years back, to keep sync with the benchmark. Most ETFs now, including index, are cumulative and NAV reflects the accrued dividends etc... @timepass

Good move. But many questions arise. Private players cross-subsidize kaise karenege? If not, how will they compete with Indian Railways? Or like GST even rail fare will increase for "middle" class across the board?
