@ 8000 nifty , 1 lot size will be around 75 - 125 (6 lakh to 10 lakh). three - five times more margin needed.
Ravibhai, so we need to have 4 times more money in our account to trade nifty, so one lot traders get affected?

Or is it like if we have 100000 in our account we can trade intraday without any issue but with only one lot.

so margin to trade one lot of nifty intraday would be around 40000 correct?

it will depend on the contract size of nifty , say if @ 8000 nifty , contract size 6 lakh then lot size 75 and margin for 1 lot 50k around , if 8lakh then lot size 100 , margin for 1 lot 70 k.

Guys let us not panic and wait for ST to come up with his views, he might have seen many obstacles like this. ST bro, what are the ways day traders and swing traders will be affected can you kindly help us all here, did something like this happen before in your career.

Will this only increase margin amount or will also reduce our monthly profits?

Please clear up our heads for us
