where can I get basic price data of all stocks as Open Close High Low and Volume in very well tabulated manner ?? ...

For free, official websites of BSE and NSE

If you are willing to pay Rs. 500/- for six months, there is a well known yahoo group which now runs a webiste of its own. Sorry that I could not mention the name of that website as it would amount to advertising. I am only a customer of that website. Except that I have no other interest there. This website gives one week delayed data for free. See whether that delayed data satisfies your requirement.

I hope this helps

How can I forget free softwares uploaded by some of our esteemed members of this forum which automatically downloads BSE, NSE Eod data and gives output file in a manner which can be used to update Metastock, Amibroker etc.? Pankaj's EODDLC is the one that readily comes to my mind. I think there are many more softwares which downloads NSE data. Please check the software threads/forum of Traderji.
