Back here in Gujarat things are not well as it might appear from image u have in the mind
It's true that many places were land were given or acquired by corporates, ppl have got good money and secured job as a land loser in same company.
But there are serious unemployment at the moment in Gujarat.
100 of colleges were opened in engg and medical discipline, now fresh graduates are feeling heat of weak demand and growth

bro, rich and poor divide is increasing in india. no doubt. thats y we r not in happiest countries list.
norway/scandinavian countries have ppl with similar social status, thats ppl there rated there life as quite happy in a recent survey..

Most of the states and most of the graduates after coming out of college r unemployable.
no proper training.

Meri kisi aise sarkari officer se jaan pehchan nahi hai. Rahi unke sudharne ki baat, to retirement ke baad sab sarkari officer sudhar jaate hein, jab naukri ki hekri nikal jaati hai aur mango people ki jindgi jeeni parti hai. Aur jab (kuchh samay ke baad) unke office ke hi log usi tarah se pesh aate hain jaise veh doosron se pesh aata tha, like kal aana aaj mein bahut busy hoon etc etc. tab samajh mein aati hai.
