It is not better to ape sombody's levels rather than stick
to a strategy developed.I will give an example.Yesterday
(12.11.09)I went SHORT at 5000 which was perfect according
to the strategy.I thought of closing at 4966 when bottom band
was hit.Then came IIP numbers.In a fraction of time it went
past 4990 and top band also.These kind of movements nobody
will predict.

Coming to other part, the DASHED line is previous close and
DOT-DASH line is weighted average of today.

Since Nifty Future Index has crossed 5000 ,a little bit of
Caution is required.Yesterday (last Friday)index moved up
and down many times.So one needs lot of patience in such
markets rather than changing directions.So a simple strategy
which I mention in each post is best thing to adopt.

Which broker software has produced these lines? Hope today's average price is displayed as a horizontal line on a continuous basis fron within the software and not drawn by you at the end of the day. If so how to set this feature on?

Hi murthymsr,

My broker is sharekhan and I am using Tradetiger.
These lines are AUTO-GENERATED lines.
Prev.Close, weight average and Today's close ,all three
are different.
Consider case where Nifty has increase till end.In that case
Prev.close will be at BOTTOM, weighted average at the MIDDLE
and close at TOP.

Rather weak day despite being the fact that Nifty has gained
handsomely.In fact ,throughout the day ,Software shares
were putting pressure and was eased a bit in the end.

The First half an hour at the opening bell and last half
an hout at the end session ,generally see the market
moving in emotion ,does not follow this strategy.

will you explain piercing Red Green the bottom band
is it green bar crossing high of red bar which pierces bottom band?
