Backtesting of price action strategy

want to ask is we can backtest strategies based on price action in zerodha pi ?
Plz help out.

I am not aware if any afl is present for PA Strategy. Without AFL backtest is impossible.

The only way to backtest is manually candle by candle. Writing down entry and exits on excel sheet

Trading view has a language called Pinescript with which we can back test on the site.

I write code in .Net to back test based on 1 year 1 minute candle data that I have for all instruments. If you want something to be back tested professionally, pls do inbox me for further details

I think zerodha has launched Algo trading platform called as Streak, it allows you to do backtesting. Check their introduction videos.
