First of all, I like to thank those members here who made big effort and great analysis on this discount brokers. Great Job...it helps a lot.

Now, my query is..
Is there any broker in BPR excel sheet who DOES NOT count MTM PROFIT on real time basis ?

To tell you in detail...
If you holding 1 lot NRML BUY NIFTY @ 6000 and next day NIFTY is @6010 and so you making MTM profit of Rs 500. Now with RKGLOBAL you can use this Rs 500 only from next trading day and not on same trading day (i.e. not on Real time basis). But if its MTM loss then RKGLOBAL will deduct it on real time basis. Isn't it strange poicy for profit and loss !!

Many people don't notice this if MTM profit is low. I noticed it when i had MTM of 40k and could not create any new nifty postion.

@BPR,
Is it possible to add another column in your excel sheet, as which brokers provide (NON INTEREST) MARGIN AGAINST SHARES (HELD IN POOL A/C) TO USE IT IN F&O.

I know few who provide non-interest margin to trade in F&O... RK GLOBAL, ACHIIEVERS & BMA.

But, I am hear again for some correction. :lol:

VPS and RKSV is charging Rs 100 Stamp Duty. Don't know about Wisdom. If they are charging 200/Cr then VPS would have lowest transaction cost for little high volume traders. But ODIN is not good as NEST. It is better if VPS shift to Nest soon.
I think many other brokers are charging Rs 100 /Cr Stamp Duty for Commodity.

Is there anyone with Wisdom? Please confirm Stamp Duty and what is their actual margin for positional Crude Oil with 1111 plan? I knew they are giving 4 times with 1111 plan and 10 times with 2222 plan for MIS. But what is there square off time for NSE and MCX?

It is big disadvantage that Wisdom don't have a thread in open forum, no facebook, no picture of office, nothing.
Also 10 times for MIS (around 3k per lot for Nifty) too much.
During big market crash like 2008, such broker can go bankrupt easily then all clients money would be at risk. Is their owner a multi billionaire?

I don't know how they give 2 times for positional too for 2222 plan. I think there is some minimum margin rule for positional trade from Exchange. How they give 50% for positional also, even in crude oil? :confused:

Wisdom's margins is very interesting for trading, but there is something fishy. :)

Hi ppr,

i mailed wisdom few days back mentioning that there Rs 7 per lot caculator is not working.Also told them that there is no support mail id on the website.
I got a reply with "thanks for the suggestion ":lol:They put the mail id under contact us but calculator is still not working.
Then i mailed for the file for stamp duty and other charges .
No reply till date.
Same is the case with alice blue .
Customer support num doesn't work and no reply to mails.:annoyed:
They also provide intraday margin with .005% brokerage plan.

I don't think service of these ppl are even half of what zerodha,rksv,vps ,tso are providing.
these ppl don't even reply to ur mails forget about opening and running a thread on TJ.;)
Procon replied and they have a little tweak to their brokerage plans which nobody knows.:D

i confirmed smart investor plan and one has to pay Rs 250 pm and 10rs per trade also.They told stamp duty is on gold and silver and that too is different slabs on standard mini and micro lots.
No stamp duty for other products,but how much i don't know.

thanks for the info. u mean they do not provide nse /nfo?
smart invester plan is flop if they want you to pay 250 pm additional.

yes they don't provide nse.
on website its written equity and commodity and moreover in download section when u download its nest trader but when i talked to them they told we are working to provide nest and nse ,this and that, not getting clearance etc etc. blah blah,
same case as wisdom says we wil fix the brokerage calculator in 2 days :lol:
I sincerely think these guys will not provide the service :annoyed:

Completely agree that VPS ODIN is a deal breaker. but they will eventually shift to NEST someday.
the 2 times positional margin is very attractive for swing players like me and I also wonder how legit it is. This is more attractive than the 10 times intraday margin they give for the same plan:D
I wonder when WC will get their act together and start answering all such questions.
