Zerodha - Number One Discount Broker in India

Hi Zerodha,

even i faced same problem of order not showing up in order book and trade books unless ZT restarted..... this issue is growing day by day (multiple complaints reg this issue in traderji as you can see) and request to look into this matter seriously.......this issue turning out be very costly due to delay restarting ZT or ending up duplicate orders.......

I had the same problem around 10 am. sold nifty options and couldn't see the order in the order book or trade book. Even the net positions did nt oshow a reduction.
Btw this issue has occured multiple times in the past.

I think I noticed on NSE options, that my SL did not get trigger.

it was like SL trigger - 230, Limit - 227

the bid price went to 228/229, the ask was 231 and above. It remained there and then the prices moved upward to 235-240.
The SL trigger order did not execute.

Just my observation. So maybe its the LTP which might be the trigger.

But I am also waiting for sure shot confirmation from Zerodha.

^ LTP triggers orders. Not bid/ask. Price discovery happens only when a trade takes place. bid/ask mean nothing.

I have looked at NSE mobile platform. It is much better than Zerodha Mobile.

Why does Zerodha insist on using the buggy ZT when NOW is more stable than it.

Is it because it has the proprietary name Zerodha in it?

By the way, the "Market Wizard" Madan is also using NOW and not ZT for executing orders.

I am no 'Market Wizard'. Market has a way of humbling us every now and then I have had my shares of those moments.

Am extremely comfortable using NOW and i despise change. Old school guy. I don't even have a smart phone and no internet data plan..really old school

With the conversations i am having with Nithin on their new software, i am getting the feeling that it would not disappoint a lot of us. Let's see. Hope they roll it out quickly.

Any hint on when is the D-Day ??
