Today FII trades 01st Apr

-7366 net index contracts
Long liquidation and New Shorts.

-9774 net stock fut cont
New Long and New Shorts.

-23797 net index calls
New Long and New Shorts.

+42958 net index puts.
New Long and New Shorts.

Net long index contract at +101765 net cont And they are short by -107263 net contracts on stock.

Subdued day, Activity was seen in Sugar and mid caps. Also Airline staocks were active. New volumes were generated in Teas sector stocks also.

FII were seen Liquidating Nifty and shorting Bank Nifty. They were aggressively buying Pus and shorting calls.

Clients were seen short covering Nifty and buying Stock Futures. They were buyers in calls.

Props were shorting Index and stock Futures. They were seen shorting calls and aggressively in Puts.

DII were seen shorting Stock Futures.

FII were buyers in cash, Traders are expecting momentum in Mid caps. There were some places of action like Sugar and Cement in mid-caps.

Data do not suggest negativity yet, but FII is aggressively buying Puts, which can also be sign of Insurance.
