Hi Amit,
Anant Ji explained the rules...I have posted today chart of ADANIENT which made GAP UP. The Entry, SL, Exit explained in the chart.

This is a good method of Intraday Scalping! If played well we can get decent return. But Exit to be done with some fixed amount

You need to check the yday closing 5 Min candle and today first 5min candle. If there is GAP UP go high on the first 5min candle and if GAP DOWN go low on the first 5 min candle.

IMPORTANT Never initiate the trade till the first 5 min candle is fully formed or completed!

How To Trade When trend is against identified GAP!

When the GAP is identified at times the trend will reverse against the GAP. How to trade that. I have posted the chart of SBIN (Futures) 04.01.13 with explanation in the chart itself.

Karthik and RR: How do you define Gapdown/gapup?... As per one of your comments you have mentioned that if today opening is more/less than yesterdays close then it is termed as Gapup/Gapdown.. We will take an example suppose adani's yesterday close is 278.8 and today adani opened at 278.9 will it be termed as gap up opening?
