i m not able to regiater through command prompt it is showing too many parameters is there any other way to register rateserver?

Step 3 not completed.

open dos prompt and enter command
[cd C:\Program Files\AmiBroker]
[rateserver.exe /regserver]

message unexpected error.Is it due to windows7 OS?It worked on windows XP earlier.Any solution?

hello

I too had same problem with cmd prompt. here is how i solved it

first type this below in cmd

cd C:\Program Files\AmiBroker

then you get in cmd the following C:\Program files\AmiBroker>

now type after > symbol following

rateServer.exe/regserver

the press enter key. that is all

Dear VXL,

I am unable find any fault with what you have done. But i have a doubt about the cmd prompt of yours. So i suggest delete all metatrader plugins in amibroker and proceed once again. This time get command prompt from Start-Run-type cmd and press Ok. what i get is C:\Documents and settings\sajioommen>. From here i proceed with the steps mentioned below


in the third image you have typed the word symbol in cmd. Symbol i meant in earlier post was >.

Correct method is

cd C:\Program Files\AmiBroker>rateServer.exe/regserver.
