I think you have traded both Copper and Crude oil? Please share which of these is better for VP trading. Is there a good time to trade, is there some way to avoid trading in the evenings? Please share your thoughts on this.. thanks a lot. Bro, also please share normally how many points away is your initial SL if kept on pivothigh or low?

You made a mistake of buying when the visual trend is down. In downtrend, market may take small corrective upmove and you tried to trade that. It is better to trade the main trend.Correct trade is look for an opportunity to go short. In this method we trade short term trends in direction of visual trends. So with visual trend being down, one should not even think of going long.

If you had shorted after every corrective upmove and pivot low crack, you would have made good money today.

ST Da/Subhadeep,

Please tell where the long entry is on this chart of Aug 25. By the time we got a pivot above ERL, price had already moved 100 points. Price moved another 100 points after that pivot above ERL. Should we take the long entry after 100 points had moved? or is the entry earlier than that? Please look at this chart..

See the visual trend on the same chart. 5 min or 3 min .Mark VPL/VPH and see the trend.

When one is trading the trend, one can never catch the bottom and tops...trends will give indication of change after 100 points move and then we have to look for buying opportunities. Tops and bottoms scalpers catch, trend traders dont.

One could have gone long small quantity when market went above minor ERL. or when the market took out a visual PH much below the line marked by you.
