STP Gateway Between MetaTrader 4 Servers

Recently we have launched the MetaTrader 4 STP Gateway for our brokers in the release of build 480.

This Gateway will significantly extend the functionality of MetaTrader 4 trading platform by implementing built-in STP (Straight-through processing) mechanism between MetaTrader 4 servers. This means that brokers will now be able to quickly and easily execute trade requests of their clients on one or several omnibus accounts.

I m not bashing anyone hir. Just pointing out the issue.

In forex , the brokers provide their own feed , since forex is a unregulated market and each forex broker provides his own feed to MT4/5. There is no feed from a central exchange. Hence no two forex brokers feed will match.

What i m pointing out here is that I have not seen a reliable feed from a central exchange on MT4/5.

well, most of them are. The same can be said about any forum including Traderji. Sorry if this offends people here. But it's the truth.

Good research by our Ztrader, it seems he has lost lot of his hard earned money on OL forex trading. I would suggest you brother don't trust these brokers and don't trade on forex !!no one is forcing you. And if u did then dont blame others for your own mistakes .!!!

Its world market and a single feedback wont change anything

Data Storage in MetaTrader 5

MetaTrader 5 offers the entirely new principle of the price data transfer and storage. In MetaTrader 4, data on different time frames were transferred to the terminals separately. Now the data is transmitted and stored only in the form of one-minute bars, while higher time frames are built based on them in client terminals. This approach substantially saves the traffic because the history is downloaded only once and applied to all periods. After downloading the price history, the terminal only downloads new data.

Opening the charts has become much faster: constructing a chart of any time frame out of one-minute bars is performed very quickly. Built time frames are cached on user's hard disk. Cached time frames are opened even faster as the calculation is performed for the new data only.

Working with the one-minute history also provides full conformity of data on all time frames, since they all use the same one-minute data as a source. In case 1-minute bars are changed on the server, the time frames that have previously been calculated and cached on the client terminals are updated automatically.

Another advantage of working with the price history is that it is transmitted to client terminals in a compressed format, which saves the traffic and reduces the download time. For example, a 10-year price history of one-minute bars for one symbol is about 10 MB in a compressed form.
