please check peer comparison in this page, it mentions 1 yr ret, 2 year ret..5 year return.. i am not sure so maybe some other member may also clear this up.

are sir, its annualized - why do you think its not? sensex was at 10000,14000 some years back - now its 25k. Funds outperform sensex easily over long term.

Go to to the performance tab, check the annual returns and get the annualized returns for last 12-13 years. Its also a good way to see the ups and downs in market and to keep things in perspective.

Yeah, you are right.. this is what the site says..
"In all Value Research products, returns for a period of less than one year are stated in absolute terms, while over a one year period, annualised returns are stated."

Are these return after considering the charges ? how much % in general is deducted in charges, can you explain with an example of a policy with 10 year period and return of 15 %, thanks.

yes after charges, that is why you can see difference in returns in DIRECT vs regular plans. ( regular plans have extra expense approx 0.5-1% that is paid to distributor/broker)

You can look at the expenses for each fund in value research itself.
