Getbhavcopy stopped downloading eod data from 09.11.15 (Yesterday). Is there any problem...

yes hakija and getbhavcopy not downloading index data due to change in symbol for nse index. eg cnx nifty is now nifty 50.
have to wait for new update from them.
datadownloader of joy has provition to change the index symbol. we can use that then merge

in the the symbol list. write nifty 50 instead of cnx nifty in indices notepad and save.
s&p cnx nifty will be nifty 50.
bank nifty will be nifty bank.
space is there between nifty and 50.
try this way. u can have recent indices symbol in nse site.

every free downloader developer eg getbhavcopy,hakija,datadownloader of joy etc is now not interested to update their software.
may be that it does not give them bussiness.
better we can assure that every users will contribute some amount for using it.
or these respected developers may convey the messege to their users about any amount for these software.
better it sud have another thread but i dont know how to open a new thread.
i think many member are using or were using some kind of free downloader for eod in this site or other simililar site.
