Re: Price Band

Link for List Of Stocks that are in derivatives & do not have circuit limits.

http://www.nseindia.com/content/fo/fo_underlyinglist.htm

Also, remember just because a stock is in derivatives segment it will never have circuit limits... it is at the discretion of the exchange to impose circuit limits & the same is announced through the exchange circular.

Here is a link for a little instruction on Price Band from NSE

http://www.nseindia.com/content/equities/eq_pricebands.htm

Here is yet another link for daily Price Band Limit....which is available in the same page as the one immediately above.

Re: F&O or Intraday

Intraday means buying and selling on the same day. You can trade intraday in Equities, Futures and Options.

The most risky are Options, and in a volatile market, you can double, triple or quadruple your money in 1 day, or lose everything.

Futures come next. They need a big initial investment. You can buy futures on margin, which gives you a lot of leverage. You can earn a tremendous amounts of money using futures.

Equity investments are supposedly risky for average people, but compared to Futures and options, equity is as good as an FD.

In the last 2 months, I have lost more money trading Futures than I had saved in 4 years of college. So, before trading futures, study, make a system, and then invest.

Cheers!

Re: Price Band

Even as its cleared that the scrips which are trading in derivatives segments doesn't have price bands whether its stock or an Index but in T2T segments (only for equity segment) which have fixed price band i.e 5%.
