Experiments with OBV

Follow OBV line levels given by your system.

It must have been futures data.. Nifty spot does not have volumes, so no obv.

That's spot data.

Aja, dont look at OBV values, look at plot of OBV line it should be near identical, you can compare/check your AMi OBV with Kite/PI.

BTW Varun ji introduced 3rd variation of obv method.
It uses horizontal lines at specific time intervals every two hours from opening.

Most probably it does not need 200 ema and even 15 period obv bo/bd.

I was planning to post detailed backtest results of 1tf, using the 2 methods.. Now considering not to post...

With this 3rd method..Again I have to backtest with this new settings..:fatigue:

Dont use Nifty for back testing.

back test on Stocks like Dr Reddy, Maruti

How can Nifty spot have volume.. is it trading in market?

From the mentioned values, those numbers seem to be trade turnover of nifty/bank nifty underlying stocks.

why checking with google data and comparing for this.
