I think it's been resolved according to:

Would have been nicer to update the trade tiger client than wait for windows to update but it works now?

In 2 days time Windows 8.1 releases, I guess it is safer to buy 8.0 now than take a risk whether trade tiger 2.4 works with Windows 8.1 unless someone can confirm that Trade Tiger Advance works with Windows 8.1 preview/release?

Today again Trade Tiger Updated. They updated TT but the version mentioned is still 2.4 ....

Will have to find out what new have they introduced now.
