I want to discuss one strategy with you all but i am not sure it really works or not but i tested few days and found quite use ful and simple .

buy = nifty gap down opening ( 35 points or more ) + scrip trading at least 1% below previous close + today's open = today's low .= stoploss day low target 1 to 2% .

Sell - opposite is sell .

Please share your views ..
please give some examples of buy and sell so that we can understand in a better way.

Hello rajsumi, I am new to this forum and was reading some of your analysis...Fantastic I must say and not complicated as well.
I wonder how do you come up with such detailed level research and analysis.
For example, I really liked ur analysis on the last 8 years of nifty high's.

There is an excel sheet that you have tried to upload in this thread, however the link seems to have some problem.
Could you repost the link or send me the excel on [email protected]

Thanks
Nayan

hi raj sumi,
The strategy works with a good amount of success rate....but some times markets turns direction after indicating open= low or open= high in the first 15min later changes direction....if we place SL of 15min low/high and we trade in the opposite direction to original signal that also works well for intraday...this strategy worked well for me to make 10% gains intraday in options also(at the money options)...but we should keep in mind support and resistance...i mean open= low works well near short term supports and open= high gives high success % trades near resitance...i am trading nifty with this strategy...and it works....
all the best
regards
