Better be safe than sorry. :D

In the meantime please post some of such previous instances, when market crashed after/before/around a mega IPO listing

Hi,
Example DLF IPO, and famous Reliance Power it has really broke many.
It took lot of time to satbalize the market, during this process may trader and investors wiped out and some of the never return back to this beautiful stock market game.
Still waiting for clear answer from experts like you and others on TJ forum.
Thanks and have Nice Sunday.

The market is trading flat, if you look at the technicals.
Agreed that the market didn't take Reliance IPO and DLF IPO well, but that does not make it a proven assumption that the market will crash.
Besides, there have been several Genera Insurance IPOs in the market, which have not been received well in the market, though they were valued very high. So it wouldn't be right to comment that the market will crash with GIC IPO
