why 512 or mbps speed

i am using net setter wen ever watch a video or it speed suddenly increases but while watching stocks it shows less speed. i think while trading there is not enough data per second available to flow to show good speed. so can anyone tell me watching 4 or 5 sstocks at a time using simple charting and site nseindia how much data kb or mb may likely to flow per second.i am asking this bcose my netsetter while watching videos peaks to a speed of abt 3 mbps. but while watching stocks or general net surifng it shows less speed. so i think trading doesnt reqire that mbps speed. means there is not enough data to flow per second. even though ur net connection is capable of higher speed. please guide abt this. is mbps connection useless luxary in trading

I think it might also depend upon if you are having wireless or wired connection.In my area Tata people provide wired BB which I have 384 kbps ..it works fine and downtime is also less.

I am satisfied with wired tata connection umlimited with 384 kbps also.
