How to day trade stocks opening with heavy volume? Is it better to go in the direction of the opening volume or against it?
By what analysis we can increase our probabilities in deciding our direction.

How do you define heavy volume?
If you look at volume trends in markets, it is highest at the open and close while shallow during the day.
This is because activity is highest at mkt open.
As far as direction is concerned, it generally doesn't work all the time going in the direction.
Against would perform even worse I guess, but you can look for more refined ways to enter like ORB method that uses a particular time frame opening range breakout to incorporate volume breakout and choose the direction.

You know, the thing is, any strategy can be effective in the market. Yes, any strategy.
And a lot depends on how well you understand this or that approach and how well you learn to use it in practice. And that's the secret.
