100kb should be good enough. But my experience with BSNL isn't too great - actual bandwidth and disconnect issues.

I am using Tata Indicom with speed 128kbps, unlimited data download plan for the last 5 months. It has generally been reliable and good. I have a wireless modem and use it for my laptop and desktop simultaneously, as i am following the commodities and NSE together. I find the speed adequate for intraday data feed.

The customer service needs is horrible, very pathetic. So if you face downtime its trouble. For this I have BSNL 256kbps Broadband as a backup connection, data download is 1GB per month.

Often in our area BSNL service is erratic, hence have Tata as my primary service connection.

Hi man1
just eloberate performance of data card.
BSNl's evdo data card typically has speeds around 484kbps
with unlimited downloads. Typically you can expect 350-380kpbs speeds which is pretty good. Being a CDMA technology the service is available usually within city limits.

agree they dont release promised bandwidth.100 kbps works like dialup. Go for unlimited
broadband or atleast 2mbps EVDO datacard.

Thank you for your useful comment. But my doubt still alive is 100 Kb is ready for intraday trading ? U have any detail information about datacard pls reply me again what speed get for reliance data card

BSNl's evdo data card is more than twice as fast, than any other data card in the market. Most data cards whether Reliance/Tata/Idea are around 144kbps to my knowledge.
