Can you suggest a tax savings investment plan ?

I'll look at the features:
-----------------------
withdrawl should be done online....no need to go to branch
withdrawl ammount can be auto-deposited to savings a/c after maturity...no need to go to branch.
no tax on matured value interest
safety of my fund.
investment tenure should be from: 3 yrs to 10 yrs .

I am NOT interested in govt tax savings plan (to avoid hassles )... I want a private player tax savings plan with better service.

Can you please suggest ?

Almost all mutual funds have their own website. OR you could opt for third party sites that sell mutual funds online - ex. fundsindia.com

Here is what i'll do:
visit valueresearchonline.com and check 5 start rated ELSS fund schemes.
decide on 1 scheme. [most likely to be SBI magnum taxgain or hdfc tax saver]
then visit the website of the fund house and contact them.

hi, there are quite a few tax saving investment options in India like mutual funds, fixed deposits etc. I would recommend you to invest in fixed deposits in India. It is one of the best tax saving investments in my opinion and comes with the no risk tag. Also, if you invest for long-term then you'll earn higher returns.

Dear Megapixel, in market you will find many companies which offer you ELSS mutual fund online. You just have to see which one is giving you better returns on your investment. I too have opted for an equity scheme from Birla Sun Life mutual fund i.e. Tax Relief 96 which provides an opportunity to save tax while growing your money through equity investments.
